Exposing your old story & discovering your worth!
In today’s session, we are pulling back the layers of the stories we’ve been told & beliefs we’ve carried that don’t belong to us. We have moved from the “Victim Lens” – where life happens to us – to the “Action Lens” – where we discover that we are the authors of our our story!
What we cover today:
- Identify the Root of the Story: Learning to look at your story that you tell yourself & asking if the story is true for you or just an echo of someone else’s expectations.
- The “Should” Audit: Identifying the trigger word – “Should” – is an important part of discovering your beliefs. The word “should” is the signal that external beliefs have come into play. This is when you assess if the belief aligns with your True Authentic Beliefs.
- Flipping the Narrative: When you understand that your past hasn’t broken you, but made you who you are today. Embrace that person! Treasure the lessons that you’ve learned. By rewriting your story & flipping your narrative, you can start living in alignment with your True & Authentic Self!
Your Homework:
Perform a Should Audit – identify 3 persistent negative thoughts & find the Core Belief that those thoughts are trying to prove. Use the worksheet below to decide which thoughts stay & which belief you want to flip during this workshop.
