Failing is an option

The act of failing has gotten a bad rap. Because it’s not failing that’s the problem, it’s giving up.

I almost gave up on this blog/website. I didn’t even fail, but was so scared to fail, that I just gave up.

It’s a common occurrence.

People do it all the time; they become paralyzed by fear – fear of failing – and just quit before they can experience the crushing feeling of failing.

I’ve noticed a trend that makes me feel that there is hope. People are competing against themselves, not each other. You only need to be worried about being the best version of yourself.

And when you fail, which you are bound to do, you can get back up and try again. Maybe you will try differently, as it is important to learn from our mistakes. Remember it is not about how many times that you’ve failed but that you’ve gotten up every time.
