Life with a Life Coach

Life with a Life Coach

We all have things that we want to work on and sometimes we need a little guidance. Even me!

Yes, I’ve hired a life coach before to work some stuff. It was an interesting experience hiring a coach when I am a coach. But I learned that not all life coaches are right for all people!

How can you tell if you’ve found the right life coach?

First, check to see if they offer a free consultation. This is your chance to figure out if this is the right coach for you! It’s like a double ended interview.

The Life Coach should be discovering if they would be a good fit for you. A good coach won’t take just any client. But they should only take the clients that they feel they can help.

Your time.

This is your time. Your sessions should revolve around you and your needs. Look for a coach that offers multiple styles of coaching.

Are you looking for one-on-one sessions with a range of activities & coaching styles? Are you looking for group sessions or courses? Does your coach offer a wide range of options for coaching?

Find the coach that utilizes your time together in a way that will most benefit you!

Ask questions.

Asking questions about your sessions & coaching plan is the way that you will get the most out of coaching. Get those worries & concerns out of the way by asking the questions that are foremost in your mind.

Throughout your coaching sessions you should have the chance to express yourself & get your questions answered. If your coach isn’t providing you with what you need – find another coach!

Regularity.

You should meet with your Life Coach regularly. Some people choose sessions that happen each week, every other week, or once a month. You need to assess what you need from your coaching.

Meeting regularly is important for two reasons. First, it keeps you accountable. Your coach should be giving you things to work on between sessions & be your accountability partner.

Secondly, when you are working on your goals you should be able to address issues as they come up. Seeing your coach on a regular schedule will help you readjust & regroup throughout the process.

Digging Deep.

Life coaching is not therapy, but you should be talking about how your past has affected who you are now. This is important when talking about various things from turning your inner voice into your biggest cheerleader to discovering which parts of your history has brought you here wanting to make a change.

Life coaching shouldn’t be easy. You need to work at getting to your goals in a holistic way. Working with your coach should bring you clarity & build a plan to meet your goals.

Your Life Coach.

It isn’t easy finding the right coach for you. It shouldn’t be. You need someone that will work with you on your terms while pushing you to do better.

I have been a Life Coach since 2021 & my clients love that I am flexible with sessions & in sessions. I design programs for my one-on-one clients that include developing action steps or plans to meet their goals. My clients rave about the wide variety of techniques that I use and implement into their care-plan.

I would love to talk to you about how I can help you obtain your goals & maintain your progress towards those goals. I offer free consultations to see if I can help you.
